Since 2014, CommonGround has been bringing music to the Sioux Falls area with an acoustic blend of piano, guitar, percussion, and vocals.
Fans enjoy the wide variety of genres and styles CommonGround covers. Listeners look forward to hearing their favorite hits from well-known artists such as Johnny Cash, Of Monsters and Men, John Denver, Ed Sheeran, Elvis Presley, Lumineers and much more!
CommonGround has provided music for several different types of events and venues including restaurants, shops, farmer's markets, weddings, state parks, anniversaries, and private events. In 2018 and 2020, CommonGround was featured at the annual downtown Sioux Falls Block Party.
CommonGround features Katie Wrede on vocals and piano and Matt Morrison on vocals, percussion, and guitar. Featured in place of Matt Morrison is Clayton Delaney on electric guitar.
